Jesse D’Vauz is an Australian editor with experience across a wide range of video formats. He began his career in entertainment through nightclub performances in Western Australia, where he combined choreography and visuals to create immersive audiovisual shows. This early foundation in storytelling and creative expression led him to pursue video editing, crafting digital content for clients such as Interscope Records, Shell Australia, and Perth Festival.
Jesse has worked with music artists from across the globe on entertainment projects, with clientele including Lady Gaga, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Barkaa, A.B. Original, and Egoism. He’s known for his kinetic cuts, collaborative approach, and clean polish, adapting his style to elevate each project’s unique voice.
His storytelling sensibility is also evident in his documentary work, including the SBS vogue documentary The Alexander Ball, which brought Australia’s ballroom scene to television and earned international festival recognition. His portfolio spans multiple genres and platforms, from the ABC series Bad Ancestors - nominated for the 2025 AACTA Award for Best Online Drama or Comedy Series and winner of Screen Producers Australia’s Online Series Production of the Year - to TVNZ’s scripted vogue anthology Mother Hood, and reality hits such as Lego Masters, The Traitors, and Married At First Sight.
Jesse holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications (Film & Video) from Edith Cowan University and is an alum of the Endemol Shine Post Production Mentorship.
Based between Perth and Sydney, he freelances as an editor, shaping compelling stories across commercial, documentary, drama, and digital formats.
